KORA

Recovery

KORA · Physical Capacity

Recovery is not what happens between training sessions. It is an active component of the KORA method.

Warm-up and movement preparation

Preparing the body before training is part of the session, not a formality before it.

Dynamic preparation

Movement-based preparation that primes the body for the work ahead.

Mobility work

Maintaining and developing range of motion as part of ongoing physical capacity.

Foam rolling

Soft-tissue work as part of recovery practice where appropriate.

Static stretching

Used where appropriate, particularly in post-session recovery.

Rest

Deliberate rest is part of the training cycle. Adaptation occurs during recovery, not during the session itself.

Load management

Managing total training load across sessions, weeks and phases to allow consistent development without breakdown.
